Hello…this is me relaxing, well awake at 1.20am on a Sunday typing blogs as much as that is relaxing. To be honest after spending over 12 hours traveling to various gigs, these last few days has been hell on the body, fabulous for the soul and overdosing on glitter. I’ve been getting my kit off in Worcester, London, Lincoln and Birmingham plus a few festival appearances these last few days. So yeah, there has been some travelling involved.
Worcester was awesome…a mad dash up with motorway and hey presto I was shaking my ta-tars for the crowd. Miss Hilton Presents was a fabulous giggle and I even got to do a bit of exercise in our changing room as there was a punch bag.
I wont bore you with a blow by blow account of my antics. Suffice to say it was awesome. London Field Festival was great especially as I got to hang out with my Dalston Darlings WI friends. I also saw some dude from The Might Boosh (the brother) and Pixie Geldof. Though was more impressed by the organiser’s mother and her fan dancing to be fair. The concept of some celebrities (not all) is somewhat lost on me!
With the last few days being so busy it has been hard to find time to relax and do other things that arent burlesque related. I have recently gotten back into my photography and even managed to edit a few shots.
Add to that I am back to writing a bit more for various publications I think I found the time to relax…This month isnt going to be any less work manic which considering the current climate is a god send so I wont be complaining.
Right must dash as there is coffee to be drunk. Last night I dreamt Vanessa Feltz and I were laying side by side dead in a field. Didnt go back to sleep after that. Too creepy for me.
